At this years Westoe Village Fayre, Radio South Tyneside had a huge teddy bear with no name and people attending the event were asked to choose his name - and win the bear.
We were delighted to call Mrs Dorothy Martins of South Shields who correctly guessed his name was Sunshine to tell her she had won.
Mrs Martins was thrilled to receive Sunshine at her home, seen here being presented with it by Ron Cameron of the Ron Cameron Breakfast Show and said "We are due a new addition to the family in December and were just thinking the baby hasn't yet got a bear so I entered hoping I'd win it. I never thought I would win!"
The bear was donated to Radio South Tyneside by MAC Electronics of Bede Industrial Estate and all funds raised go towards ongoing improvements at the station. MAC Electronics also provided technical support at the event this year.
